Compliance

What each status means

Plain-English translation of every enrollment and round status.

Enrollment statuses

  • pending — created, nothing sent yet.
  • disclosure_delivered — the Consumer Credit File Rights disclosure has gone out, awaiting signature.
  • disclosure_signed — signed; the contract can now be signed.
  • contract_signed — signed; the cooling-off clock is running.
  • cooling_off — waiting out the statutory period. No work may be done.
  • active — work may begin.
  • terminated — final. No further transitions are possible.

Round statuses

  • awaiting_import — waiting for you to upload the client’s credit report.
  • awaiting_audit — the report is in; run the AI audit.
  • awaiting_selection — the audit is done; choose which items to dispute.
  • awaiting_letters — items chosen; draft the letters.
  • awaiting_approval — letters are drafted and need an owner or admin to approve them for mailing.
  • mailing — handed to the mail provider. Individual letter statuses update as each piece is sent.
  • waiting — mailed; the reinvestigation window is running. Nothing to do yet.
  • diffing — a re-imported report is being compared against the original.
  • completed — the round finished and its results are verified. This is the state that makes work billable.
  • closed — the round ended without completing.
